She showed locally at the Fran Willis Gallery until its closure in the summer of 2007 and is currently represented by View Art Gallery in Victoria and Atti Gallery in Toronto. Her work is in mixed media painting and drawing, working on panel, canvas and Mylar. The focus is on process with attention to building surface, layering of materials, and gestural mark making. The resulting imagery reveals a narrative of personal history, self-perceptions, and reflects her interest in the information revealed through the act of relationship. Cheryl also works in printmaking, utilizing monotype and intaglio techniques. click to enlarge
