I find an undeniable satisfaction in doing the work, regardless of who else sees it, or how commercially successful it may be. I aim to communicate my emotions through my art in order to touch viewers in ways that elicit their own personal strong feelings. I feel an artist's work is his or her own unique synthesis of creativity that reflect individual vulnerability and personality. I love colour! In planning my compositions, I constantly keep in mind an exciting array of colours and focus on opacity or transparency to achieve the effect I am striving for. My technique stresses the contrast of the pigments strengths, power and force with its unique qualities of delicate softness. Basically, my objective is to continually aim for the combination of the lively characteristics of sunlight, shadows and color. click to enlarge
