Art and Science always appealed to her equally and she has worked in both fields. Alice was trained and worked in Animation at the N.F.B. Then discovered clay that became her choice of media. "I like the functional aspect that pottery can offer, as well as the fantasy that you can bring to it." Alice received the Children's Popular Choice award at the Sooke Fine Arts show for one of her 'fantasy' fountains. Doing commission work and contributing to people's decisions about a special renovation or even a new sink basin for their home is very rewarding to her. click to enlarge
